These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Enforcing Immigration (the "Service"), operated by EnforcingImmigration LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or post. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your password secure.
Reading the Service is open to everyone. To post, reply, vote, or report, you must create an account and confirm your email address. We use automated anti-abuse measures (including a CAPTCHA challenge) and may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms.
Enforcing Immigration is a news-aggregation and public-discussion platform. Nothing on the Service — including news summaries, user comments, or any other content — is legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created. Immigration law is complex and fact-specific. For advice about your situation, consult a licensed attorney or an accredited representative. Do not rely on the Service to make legal decisions.
The Service automatically aggregates headlines and short summaries from third-party news sources and links to the original articles. We do not create, own, or endorse that third-party content, and we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or availability. Trademarks and source names belong to their respective owners. Your use of any linked site is governed by that site's own terms.
You retain ownership of the comments and other content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute it in connection with operating and promoting the Service. You represent that you have the rights to submit your User Content and that it does not violate any law or the rights of others.
You may choose to post so that your display name is hidden from the public and shown as "Anonymous." This anonymity is public-facing only. Every account is email-verified, and your content remains associated with your account in our systems. Our moderators and administrators can view the account behind anonymous posts for safety, moderation, and legal-compliance purposes, and we may disclose identifying information where required by law or to protect people from harm. Do not rely on anonymous posting to engage in unlawful activity or to evade responsibility for your content.
You agree not to post or do any of the following:
We may review, remove, hide, or restore any content, and we may warn, suspend, or ban accounts, at our discretion and without notice. Content that is removed may be retained for moderation, safety, and legal purposes and may remain visible to moderators (see our Privacy Policy). Certain content may be permanently deleted at our discretion or upon a valid request.
The Service is free to read and free to use. You may optionally send us a voluntary payment to support the site. Card payments are handled by our third-party processor, Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card details. Bitcoin payments are made over the public Bitcoin network through our own checkout (BTCPay Server) and are priced in U.S. dollars at the time of checkout. Bitcoin transactions are recorded on a public blockchain, are irreversible once confirmed, and are made at your own risk. By paying, you authorize the applicable charge or transfer.
A contribution may add a cosmetic "Supporter" badge to your account. The badge is a token of thanks only — it does not unlock features, content, moderation privileges, or any other service, and it confers no additional rights. Contributions are not tax-deductible (EnforcingImmigration LLC is not a charitable organization) and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change, pause, or discontinue contributions and the badge at any time. You must not contribute using a payment method you are not authorized to use.
The Service, including its design, branding, and software (excluding User Content and third-party content), is owned by us and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Service without our permission.
We respond to copyright and other content-removal requests as described in our Copyright & Takedown Policy.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that content is accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you contributed to us in the twelve (12) months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100). The core Service is provided free of charge; any contributions are voluntary and governed by Section 9.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your User Content or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, unless you and we agree otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
